Indie Author Interview: Dr Thomas Abraham, Author of East to West.
Following the exciting launch of Dr Abraham’s memoir, East to West, I caught up with him to ask a few questions about his writing, the self-publishing process, and how much it means to him to see his book live on the Amazon bookstore.

Congratulations! Your book is now available on the Amazon bookstore. How did it feel to see it there for the first time?
Thrilled and euphoric.
Can you tell us a little bit about your book and why you wanted to write it?
I have extensive life experiences spanning different continents – pleasant, pungent and painful, which I wanted to share with others.
Have you always been a writer / wanted to become an author?
Yes. I have been writing articles for 25 years.
What made you take that leap and publish your book?
Although I have been striving to get the book out of me, due to workload and time constraints, I never got around it. The current COVID-19 crisis triggered me into writing this book.
Have you any more book plans in the pipeline?
Some plans for another one; but I want to recover from the aftershock of releasing this book.
What advice would you offer other aspiring authors who want to self-publish their books?
Believe in yourself and persevere; it is only a matter of time if you stay focused on your aim.
I have been gobsmacked by the rapturous applause of some who read it on Kindle.
So, we all can do it!
