Hi Jensen, thanks so much for taking time to join us!
First things first, can you tell us a little bit about you and where in the world you’re from?
Of course! I’m from Nebraska. We lived on my mom’s family’s ranch and for about a decade ran a horse rescue. It was amazing! I met my husband in high school and we have been together for a decade
I always label myself as an all-around nerd because I’m a part of so many fandoms from Supernatural to Harry Potter to Buffy. I could go on and on and on. I love connecting over shows, movies, and books.
In April of

I also recently started offering promotional graphics for book teasers or self-promotion and such. It’s something I enjoy making and most of my writer-tribe keep telling me to offer the service so I finally took the plunge and did!
Wow! You’re a busy lady! When did you realize you were getting serious about your writing?
About 2011. I had a dream that ended up sparking a book idea and my brain won’t stop since. I honestly can’t go more than a few days without doing SOMETHING
What was the first book you had published?
Shards of Survival by the Writing Bad group. I was the driving force behind editing, formatting, and publishing. It’s a short little anthology centered on the theme of survival. My story “Thirsty” is about caveman zombies. You can buy the ebook for just $0.99 🙂
Can you give us an overview of the books you write? And tell us why you love this genre(s)?
Ooh.
I have three published horror stories, one in Shards of Survival, in Fangs and Broken Bones, and in Full Metal Horror. I have published romances in Love Dust by Pixie Forest Publishing, Cocky-Tales by Erin Crocker, and one coming up in Salty Tales by Stormy Island Publishing. I have a modern magic story in Pixie Forest’s upcoming anthology Magical
That’s really impressive, well done! That said, I’m slightly in awe here… tell me, how the heck do you find time to write when you’re a mum and a busy business owner?
As soon as my kiddos are in bed. I save a few nights of the week to watch shows/movies with my husband but he’s usually drawing so I’m writing. I’ve tried doing it during the day when they’re preoccupied or one is at school and it just never works and ends up stressing me out, which stresses them out.
I have a great business partner who is also a mom so she understands. We make things work and make the time for PFP, but our families always come first.
Of course, families always come first. They’re usually our ‘Why’ we do everything, too. Do you have any more books in the pipeline for the future?
Besides the anthologies listed above, I plan to publish my
